Thanks for all the replies. Actually the engine is high at the spinner to cowl area. I did check the cowl alignment and the cowl bumpers. New Barry mounts were installed about 6 years ago. I don't think it is stacked correctly as per M20DOC's post.

Have an M20K with the Continental. The engine appears high with cowl and spinner on. The spinner is not flush around the cowl bowl. I have looked in the service and parts manual for information regarding shimming the engine but see no data about this. Any suggestions were to find approved info?
