  1. Since my last post, I purchased and experimented with a Telex 750 headset. It works great! The mic boom fits comfortably under a mask. Transmission and reception is loud and clear. The only drawback is that the ear-muffs don't block out engine noise, so it may be noisier than you are accustomed to.
  2. I now use the very popular David Clark headset. It won't begin to pick-up my voice when I wear a 95 face mask. It won't work under my mask either, because the mic boom is so bulky, it lifts the mask an inch or so away from my face. I've considered getting a $150.00+/- Telex 750 headset. It has a thin flexible mic boom that may possibly work well under my mask. But it may also pickup too much ambient noise from my piston powered engine. I would very much like to know how other pilots are soling the mask problem. THANKS.
  3. Masks and Headsets: What's a reasonably priced headset with a flexible mic boom that will work UNDER a mask? THANKS
  4. Lots of super info! THANKS A MILLION for your prompt replies.
  5. Has anyone had experience with a Garmin G5 as a glide slope indicator? Did you find it accurate enough? Was it easy to use? I'm puzzled that Garmin doesn't list "glide slope" as a G5 feature. THANKS!
