  1. I have a dukes 1499-00-21 fuel pump and after testing the connection it seems the pump is the issue. Can anyone give me tips on removing the inlet and outlet fuel lines. I did everything in the service manual but there's no mention on how to remove the fuel lines. It seems that after I loosen the nuts all the way they stop and the lines are still connected to the pump. Any tips would be helpful so I can remove the pump and send it in to be rebuilt. I guess Aeromotors ups their rebuild costs from $450 to $600 at the end of this year.
  2. I have a slightly different dukes pump off a 65 c 1499-00-21 but was just going to o a rebuild for $450 from aeromotors. Does anyone have any tips for removing the inlet and outlet fuel lines from the pump. I cant seem to get them loose. Thanks
  3. So I was able to find out this was the Roy Harris who made the entry. Unfortunately he passed away so really no help at that end. I’m probably going to go with the fact that TSMOH isn’t a item to determine the airworthiness of an annual. And have them sign it off or take it to another shop.
  4. So everyone who said there’s no number, there is it’s just cutoff. So that’s why I’m wondering why it wouldn’t be legitimate?
  5. So I have come up on my first annual since purchasing my 65 M20C. My A&P is a reputable MSC and has told me that he cannot verify the logbook entry for the previous overhaul or even the TSMOH is correct. I have attached the entry below and wanted to see if anyone might have more insight into this. Seeing as the annuals have been signed off and calculated off this overhaul date and time the past 19 years and nobody else seems to have said anything, should I pull it and use a different shop? I cant seem to find any information on the A&P who did the overhaul or get anything from Lycoming themselves. I do know if I can't find anything my current annual is going to be signed off and timed with whatever the hours would be from the previous overhaul, over 3,000. So if anyone has any ideas or thinks this entry is fine please let me know, because right now I'm thinking of just pulling the plane out and ferrying it somewhere else.
