  1. I have a valid STC with approval and my IA/AP did the minor alteration to the tray/rod… -Don

  3. https://laartcc.org/article/a-controllers-guide-to-instrument-approaches My CFII sent me this (he flys for SouthWest) -Don
  4. Changed oil today, switching to Phillips Victory with 10% Phillips Anti-Rust. Filter looked great, 2 magnetic flakes and 4 non-magnetic flakes this time. 22 hours since last oil change so still improving. Sample sent to Blackstone so we’ll see how this sample does. Turn Coordinator not making noise (flag shows power) so I’ll pull that and send to Rudy’s for Overhaul. Overall, she’s doing very well and I’m liking that autopilot! -Don
  5. @Dick Denenny, msg for you… @tclimb this is how you do the notices… -Don
  6. After the last adjustments, AeroCruze is pretty much dialed in. Did simulated IFR with my CFII, ton of AP practice with approaches, Misses, and procedure turns, did excellent. Very pleased and I also tested the ‘Go Around’ mode too on the miss! Very capable autopilot for sure… -Don
  7. 8 decades, wow… -Don

  9. My AI buddy says “58 KCAS (67 MPH × 0.868976 = 58.22 knots; IAS ≈ CAS at low speeds, rounded to whole knot per aviation convention” Edited 4 hours ago by Jackk
  10. Not to mention what insurance is willing to insure for too… -Don
  11. I’m hangered a crossed the way from Mesquite Aviation! Good group and they too know Mooneys. I go to Edge Aviation as I’ve know those folks for several years… I’m in Hanger B-3 at Mesquite… Mine is mechanically in good shape but paint is needed. Overall, you’ll like a C or E. Mine has all the speed mods and flys fast for sure… -Don
  12. https://www.mooneysafety.com/ May no long be associated to MAPA… -Don
  13. The ‘important speeds’ are from the MAPA Safety Foundation training guide — pretty good authority for Mooney Training, recognized by Insurance Company’s, and FAA wings credit too… -Don
  14. AFM-2, for my 66 shows these numbers (these are in the MAPA training material below) but does not state calibrated that I can find: - note the weight!
  15. Here is my 66’s - TAS and calibrated tables - no correction tables. My calibrated stall is ~53 knots
