  1. Check P leads are correct. Most switches turn off the right mag, on start, if the left mag has an impulse.
  2. They appear to be corrosion holes, and it looks there are more. I worked on one many years ago, it was a massive piece of corrosion. While you have it opened up, check the wing attach brackets.
  3. I have delt with AWI for many years, exhaust and motor mounts. I have always gotten good service and fair pricing. RHG a&p IA
  4. Try Met-al. Most hardware stores have it, will polish most every thing.
  5. I worked on 402 Cessnas, used on short hop flights. We always thought the cracked jugs came from shock cooling. We changed out 13 cylinders in one week, 4 different aircraft.
  6. Check with Spinner Repairs 404-559-1946, www. spinner-repairs.com. They fixed a crack on a 172 spinner several years ago, and it's still looking good.
  7. Do you have measurements? I don't have any thing to copy.
