  1. I am brand new to the forum, so I apologize if this isn't the right place to be posting this. I was recently put in contact through mutual friends with a guy who purchased an older Mooney M20C. His insurance is requiring 25 hours of instruction, and I'd like to help him out if I could. I'm a CFI/CFII/MEI with about 600 hours of dual given with all of my time being in Cessna trainers, Piper arrow's, and Diamond DA40/42s. I would like to get some time in a Mooney before I'd feel comfortable providing flight instruction in one, and his insurance is requiring that I have 5 hours of Mooney time anyways. I've been considering getting my high performance endorsement for a while so I figured this might be a good opportunity to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I'm located in Northern Utah, but would be willing to travel within about 100 miles if necessary. Is there anyone out there willing to take me up and show me the ropes, or know of anyone that has access to an older Mooney that might be able to help me out? I would be willing to pay a fair wage for instruction and operating expenses. I also welcome any feedback as to what you guys might think about our plan. Thanks!
