  1. Sorry to hear that! I know we have been in contact with your dealer and will get you taken care of!
  2. Bob, the 55X is a very popular option for Mooney owners and is available for a list price of $19,995 for a full system. For owners who have another S-TEC system such as a 30 installed there is an upgrade path to the 55X that uses the installed servos to help save some money. In either case you will want to talk to your S-TEC dealer to get a quote including installation. You can find a dealer in your area on this link: https://genesys-aerosystems.com/dealer-locator Please let me know if you have any questions or if I can be of further assistance. Thank you!
  3. That project has been put on hold due to a lack of confirmed PO's from owners, we had it scheduled to begin last month, however when we called all the dealers/owners to confirm that the owners were ready to move forward we had many say that they were going to wait. We would love to move forward with the program as soon as we can get at least 15 owners with confirmed PO's.
  4. The 55X, while being an analog rate based system, is still a very capable autopilot solution that we make, sell, and support daily! It is a very popular option, and one of the best parts of the job is going to the trade shows and hearing from all the owners that stop by the booth just to say how happy they are with their 55X. I would ensure that your shop is able to do the 55X with your specific aircraft concerns, but it sounds like it if that is what they are recommending. Please feel free to give me a call to discuss your specific application. What dealer are you going through?
  5. Good Morning, For the M20F I would recommend the 55X autopilot. The 55x is an IFR capable system designed to increase safety, reduce pilot workload, and is easy to use. It is packed with the following functions: • Case contained, radio stack mount • Heading preselect and hold (Requires heading system with a heading bug) • Altitude hold with optional automatic electric trim • Numerous NAV modes (GPS, VOR, ILS, LOC) • Intercept modes - HDG to NAV, NAV to APR & HDG to APR • Precise Approach control for LPV, LNAV, VNAV, LOC, ILS, & VOR • Vertical speed control • Altitude preselect (Requires a baro corrected source) • Much more.. For more info on the 55X please visit this link: https://genesys-aerosystems.com/products/system-55x-autopilot Do you already have an S-TEC dealer that you are working with? If not you can find a dealer here: https://genesys-aerosystems.com/dealer-locator The list price starts at $19,995 and you would need to talk to your dealer about installation time/price. We are also still taking Pre-STC PO's for the new S-TEC 3100 Digital autopilot system. This program was put on hold until the owners that have submitted PO's are ready to proceede, but it is still on the radar. We did have a lot of interest and talked to a lot of Mooney owners at OSH this week, and tried to clear up a lot of misinformation. The 3100 is still a posibility for the Mooney series, and can be placed back on the schedule once people are ready to commit to the PO's. Please let me know if I can provide any more information. Thank you.
  6. We are working closely with our dealer network to ensure that all installations go as smooth as possible. As with any new autopilot on the market, there is occasionally some ramp-up time for dealers to streamline the installation process, especially with significant technology changes and improvements. We have shipped many S-TEC 3100 autopilots with overwhelmingly positive feedback from both installing dealers and end users. In the rare occasions that issues do come up, we work directly with the installer to resolve them as we have with any of our systems over the last 40 years. If you wouldn't mind, please PM me with the name of the shop that is having issues so I can ensure that we are in contact with them in to resolve any troubles they might be facing.
  7. Paul, Our tech guru has now updated the table to address the FD interface, please see the newest version which i have attached to this post. If you have any more questions please let myself or Barry know. Thank you! Mooney G1000 Interface.pdf
  8. Mark, Please feel free to reach out to me and I will also try to get you the assistance you need. I would need a few more details about what it is doing. When you say "it seems to do weird stuff," what is it doing. The more details about the specific issues you are experiencing and the flight conditions and procedures used when experiencing the issues will help us to start in the right direction. I will be out of the office the rest of this week, but I will have limited access to my email, I will also be at the AOPA Livermore, CA fly-in, next week. Thank you. 9. If you get the Purchase Order in before the STC is issued you are eligible for the 2-year warranty on the existing servos. Typically this date begins when the installation is completed and the dealer sends in the warranty card. That being said, if it is discovered during the install of the new 3100 that a servo (that was believed to be working prior to beginning the upgrade) does not pass the tests and needs to be repaired, or if the part numbers are different between the existing servo and the part number required for the new STC for the 3100, then this would be covered under warranty. This is not to say that the dealer can send in all 3 servos during an upgrade for overhaul regardless of operation, but if something is discovered broken or incorrect we will work with you. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks and have a great day!
  10. Glad to hear that, thank you! I'm here to help, and will answer any questions that I can, luckily I am surrounded by some really smart people so if I don't know the answer I will be able to get it for you!
  11. Tom, the pitch, roll, and trim servos are in the $3-4k range for the non-heavy duty applications like the Mooney, and overhaul is around $1750. If you get your Purchase Order in now before the STC is issued for the Mooney series (scheduled for this August) then you will get a new 2 year warranty on your existing servos no matter how old they are. Please let me know if i can answer any other questions that anyone may have. Thank you and have a great day!
  12. Current list prices as of today are: System 3100 list price (not upgrading from a previous S-TEC system) is $19,995 for a 2-axis standard system and $24,995 for the 3 axis standard system. The King Air models that require the heavy duty servos are an additional price. Upgrading from a 55X to a 3100 is $9,995 (if you already have an S-TEC trim system) or $11,495 (trim not already installed) Upgrading from a Dual Axis S-TEC system is $10,495 (with trim already installed) or $11,995 (trim not already installed) Upgrading from a Single Axis S-TEC system is $12,495 (with trim already installed) or $13,994 (trim not already installed) 3100 Yaw Kit is $5,000 These prices are current as of today, but of course subject to change. You would need to discuss install times with an authorized S-TEC dealer, however ball park estimates are around 30-40 Hours for an upgrade from a 55X, about 40-50 hours from a Dual Axis system, and about 60 hours from a Single Axis system. Again these are just estimates, you would need to talk to a dealer to get an actual quote for the install time for your specific application. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions or need any assistance. Thank you.
