  1. David, Beautiful example of an M20C! Any speed numbers you can share? With all the mods you've done, I'm curious to know what, if any changes were seen on cruise, etc. Kyle
  2. I've been following this thread, purely out of curiosity, as I don't own a Mooney(yet). Take a look at this instagram post by Mooney, and one of the comments that Mooney replied to about engineering updates. Could be a whole lot of nothing, but could possibly point to Mooney looking to expand their offerings? Anyway, excited about Sun n' Fun!! https://www.instagram.com/p/BuohEWVlxGU/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
  3. I was about to ask why you didn't do an engine monitor, but I see it now. Looks great!!
  4. Thanks! I'm hoping to have my instrument by May or June, if I can fly enough. My ultimate goal is to be able to fly our TBM, or whatever comes after, so getting CC time, retract, hi performance, etc. is top of mind for me. Hey Doug, that sounds awesome! I'll shoot you a PM.
  5. The Saratoga is a great airplane, there's no doubt. I don't have a family(yet), so for personal use it'd be just me and my wife and possibly our dog. Our company is based in northern Colorado, so flying back and forth becomes an easier, more realistic option in something like a Mooney compared to the Saratoga.
  6. Oldguy, Thanks for the info. From what I've read around here, the consensus seems to be that they're plenty roomy. Talk to almost anyone that doesn't have one, and it seems like they all think they're slightly larger than a coffin I'll see if I can swing that! Sounds like it'd be a perfect opportunity. Thanks!
  7. Hi Mooney Space! I'm wondering if anyone is based out of John Tune, knows someone that is, or somewhere in the Nashville area. I've seen a couple Mooney's around and have gotten very interested in them. My families company currently have a Saratoga II and TBM 700 based out of Colorado. I finished up my private in November and am working on my IR. I've got 65 hours, primarily in a 172, and am going through transition training in an Arrow through Harmony Air. The plan has been to bring the Saratoga to JWN for me for business use, but it needs some panel work done, and I'm wondering about selling it and finding either a M20K Encore or M20M TLS. First I need to see if I fit! (6 foot 3, 230) Any help would be appreciated, and I'm happy to be here! Thanks everyone Kyle
