  1. When the seat is full aft, the pins are riding on the top of the seat track. In that position, they hold the adjustment bar slightly elevated. Where the pins attach to the bar now becomes the fulcrum or pivot point for any down pressure on the front of that bar. If the bar is slightly bent around that fulcrum, the pins are held slightly high when seated in the tracks. Once the bar is repaired or replaced, a fix for this would be to drill holes in the track, at the full aft position, so the pins would be fully seated and the seat locked to the rear.
  2. Does anyone have a part number and or know where to buy the seat adjustment bar for the passenger seat on an 87 M20J? Looks like someone stepped on ours, many times, and it's now keeping the pins from seating deep enough in the tracks. 63786356798__72539780-4526-4E9D-B1FC-5F06F9F6A2CA.heic thanks for any help
  3. Question for anyone with experience on GNX 375 and the KAP140 flying coupled LPV approaches... I need to know when the message pops up on the 375 asking you to “enable apr output”. Is it a fixed distance from the FAF? Also, according to 3-89 in the 375 manual, I have to be in HDG mode and then arm APR on the 140 only after I acknowledge the “enable apr output” message. Am I reading that correctly? Thanks for any help
  4. I can't seem to find this light for $25 on Amazon, has it been a while since you purchased?
  5. does anyone have a picture of how these reflectors are secured/attached to the aircraft?
  6. thanks for the good gouge guys!!
  7. what do you recommend using to cut the plexiglass?
  8. I recently ordered wing tip lenses from Lasar as mine have been deformed by the heat from recog lights. I was unaware that these needed trimming when ordering and not sure I want to practice on them. Does anyone have experience with cutting/trimming these to size? Do the lenses from Mooney also have to be trimmed? Thanks for any info.
  9. Awesome, thanks for that info. Any ideas about the GNX feeding the KMD 550? I’m not as concerned with the KMD, considering the moving map on the GNX and the iPad, just need to plan for removal if it won’t interface.
  10. That’s great news; My kap 140 only uses the HSI and the Turn coordinator, no input from attitude as best I can tell. It does not have a flight director or an altitude preselect.
  11. So I thought I had my ADSB compliance planned with the install of a GNX375, while at the same time removing the KLN94 and the KT-73. However, I need the GTN375 to talk to the KI-825 EHSI and the KMD-550 but neither are compatible according to Garmin. I’ve also considered replacing the KI825 with a G5 but then I believe I lose the input to KAP 140 autopilot. Any ideas on either of these issues? Long term plan will be to replace everything with the G3X but I’m not ready to do that yet and I’m trying to waste to the least amount of money possible. All of this is in a 1986 205. Thanks Luke
  12. Does anyone have a 205 POH in PDF or know where I can find it? thanks
