  1. Yup, you are right. I went back through a bunch of old Fight trackers and the most It gets is 140 mph.
  2. I apologize..................I was wondering why you guys were saying Archer so I went back to my post. I meant Arrow (200 hp, RG).
  3. By "Why the 201?..............I meant the name. Mooney's sales pitch was that it would fly at 201 mph.
  4. So, doesn't this discussion beg the question............Why the 201? It doesn't sound like anyone is breaking the 200 barrier except for Jet Driven. I fly an archer and can get 140 to 145 knots out of but want to move to a m20j for the 30 knot jump. It doesn't sound like I'll get much more than a 10 knot jump.
  5. BKlott, When I track them down I'll tell them about your experience and that you'd love to fly it sometime.
  6. Hello BKlott.............thank you so much for the info. There is no info listed anywhere for The W flying club. I searched the biz records and found the listed owners. I sent one of them a linkd in message. We'll see if he responds.
  7. It doesn't have to be a Mooney but that would be the preference. I'd like to work my way up to purchasing an m20j in the next couple years. I don't hear of any in this area (partnerships) other than the published clubs.
  8. I'm looking for a partnership in the Tampa, Sarasota, Venice.......even Fort myers area. I'm wanting to purchase an m20j but am not there yet. Does anyone know of anyone in the area that is looking to parnter?
