  1. I purchased the Aerotech-MZ 4220 OH starter 4 years ago, maybe 200 hours on it. I get in to start the airplane and nothing happens. I might have hear a little wine or over spin of the starter but not sure. The stall horn goes off when i turn the key, and that's it. New battery at annual two months ago. The planes in the air at lease 4 times a month if not more. My first though was the relay. . Any ideas?
  2. Looking for replacement of the emergency gear crank cable 560247-501. 1970 Mooney M20C I can't find anywhere. Does anybody make them? I can't get my aircraft out of annual without a replacement. I'm desperate.
  3. I have a 1977 M20C with 400 hrs on the engine. Its a B to start. Weather hot, cold no matter it sucks all the time. It been like that since i purchased three years ago. I have to pump it 30 times some and no fuel on the ground. Its crazy, the shop looking at it for past two years can't figure it out, and they are no joke, super competent people. I am now replacing the carb. I have a feeling that's not going to work either. Talked to a few Mooney owners ( they had same problem) and they both went to fuel injection. I really don't want to go that far. Looked at all the obvious of course, electric pump working, fuel lines all good, pressure correct, mixture working correctly, plugs are in order, Carb has been inspected and looks good. Any help would be great. Thanks
  4. if your still selling odds and ends I need the Klixon Rocker switches for my 1977 M20C. landing light number is 930023-235. If that matches yours I would like to see about all the switches. Its best to call me on my cell 253-380-5548
  5. Hi, I have a 1977 m20C needing a few Klixon rocker switches. You can give me a call to discuss. 253-380-5548 Thanks Phil
  6. I don't like the time on any of those planes. I'm not to excited about the age of them either. It took me about a year to find my m20. I payed less then 50k and the engine was all most new. I will tell you these planes don't fly at 170mph on 9 gph. At least mine doesn't do those numbers. I have been looking for another plane and time and time again I keep going back to Mooney. They really are one of the best private planes in the market place. I think you can do a lot better then the two on controller. I found my plane on some off brand cite that I didn't think even worked. Some listings are years old so it does take some time.
  7. Hi, Anybody have a 1977 Mooney m20c parts manual they can up load? Been doing some up dating and could use a manual. Thanks
  8. A lot of really good suggestions. I am of the mind if it makes you happy do it. This winter I have been working on up dating radio, VOR, seats and set belts. I'm looking into the 3 or 4 point harness type. Problem I have is I don't know where to find. Sent email to Mooney today and they gave me part number for the replacement where as I want a totally different type. I can't stand the shoulder strap comes undone all the time. Anybody changed out there's for a 3 or 4 point? Would like to know where you got them.
  9. Purchased from Lasar. Direct from Mooney $180.00 per rudder, total pilot Side extension $360.00
  10. Any luck finding the 3 inch? i am in serious need Of a set. anybody have wrawings. I think I can make with good plans.
  11. That sounds crazy. Can't be a big job to replace a switch. I'm a new Mooney owner 1977 M20C in the process of replacing the boost pump switch, maybe all of them. The problem i'm having is i have no idea what switch to get. There are a million different manufacturers and models numbers. I got a quote from Lasar for $375.00 per switch. Does that sound reasonable? I have no idea... Strobe: 930023-207A Nav: 930023-201A Landing: 930023-215A Pitot: 930023-205A Fuel Pump: 930023-211A
