  1. 1962 Mooney M20CLocated in the Atlanta West MetroTT: 4699TBO:2699Useful load: 899 LBThis Mooney was previously owned by Pat Epps and the maintained by the maintenance department at Epps Aviation. The aircraft was re-manufactured at the Mooney factory in Texas in 2003. The engine, prop, panel, fuel tanks, and the interior were all re-done. The exterior was also repainted as well as the inside of the fuselage. I purchased the aircraft last Christmas and have put over 150 hours on it this year. It has all the gap seals and all J model mods. Aircraft is based at 20GA and will NOT be re-located since me and the new partner are close to the current airport. Looking to sell each share at $12,500. Monthly cost at the current airport would be $200 a month per share and a run cost of $35 an hour. Gas is currently $3.58 a gallon. Also, the airport has a mechanic on site that does the work on the plane.Current insurance requires the following, IR rating, 750 total time, 150 in retracts, and 10 hours in make and model. If you do not have this a checkout by a CFI that meets this requirement is required. If you have any other questions let me know.
  2. Talladega Superspeedway opened up free camping for people evacuating. KASN is right next door and KANB is down the road and has hotels. http://www.talladegasuperspeedway.com/A ... lcome.aspxI'm out of 20GA and we have a few parking spots left. I'll be around this weekend if anyone needs a ride from 20GA, PUJ, FTY, or CTJ. Just let me know.
  3. Yeah, that is what I was thinking. I thought I misunderstood him the first time he said it. But i asked again and he said the same thing. Thanks!
  4. Does anyone know if the laser gear set is all you need for rigging the gear on the 20C? It has one tool for the nose and one for the mains. My mechanic seems to think that I need two main gear tools to rig the gear. Can anyone shed some light one this?
  5. Hey Everyone, I may be relocating to the space coast area. (is Melbourne part of space coast?) Looking for some information on what Hangar rent is in the area. I will be living in Melbourne and be working at the Melbourne airport. But I'm sure the airport Hangar are probably out of my price range. Any information about hanger rent for airports in the area would be appreciated.
  6. My 20C has everything in the book done on it. Has the J model cowling, all of the flap and gap seals, smooth belly (i think), and the 201 yoke controls. This is my first Mooney so i don't have a good baseline on what it's done for top speed. But by the other Mooney pilots that have flown with me say it's a decent increase.
  7. Hey Everyone, Just put a deposit down on a Mooney I am looking to buy. So naturally I thought this would be the place to find a CFI to get some training on it. The aircraft is based at PDK currently. It will need relocating to 20GA. (hour drive west of PDK) I have not gotten the insurance requirements yet for it but I am sure I am looking at 10-20 hours of instruction. The co-owner of the plane will also need it so good opportunity for some time. This will probably be the week before Christmas for the ferry flight. And then instruction the week after. Some info on the aircraft, 1962 20C, manual gear, Garmin 430, STEC-50 auto pilot. Send me a message if you are interested.
