  3. 6,349’ and 7,095. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. You bring to light my first mistake. I’m interested in takeoff and landing performance and not because I’m unsure of the airplane, I’m pretty certain it will do it. I’m just trying to plan a trip and make it 100% legal and safe when the ramp check comes. Thank you for your response and I’ll keep researching. Vince Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I have a question. What are pilots using for performance data that are out of the range of performance charts? I have a 1966 E model and the performance charts stop at airport elevations of 5,000’. Vince Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Are any still flying with original engines? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. You can’t loose with Cooper’s. Not much else to do in town though. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I do always. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. I have a Mooney at LVJ. Easy in and out. The FBO building has been upgraded to a honest to goodness permanent building. Self serve fuel and the line crew is great if you need them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. No filter using one of those iPhones. Storm approaching Southwest Houston. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Can’t open it either. Blackberry, iPhone, and iPads are all employer issued so thats all I know. Very grateful for the technology and I agree about the marketing. The fly-in place looks for nice. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Ouch. I agree, that looks like FOD. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. You all have already flown through them. Feeling ok? Empty nesting is ok, but I still miss the offspring. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. I beg to differ on the saying, there are those that have and those that will. In ‘93 I was flying charter, single pilot in the mighty B100 and doing chart revisions when I heard that terrible scraping sound. There was nothing I could do since I didn’t have a cell phone then and the accident aircraft was half a mile away. It was obvious the pilot was ok since I saw him walking towards us and the FBO. When he got close I noticed a strange, far away look in his eyes and he didn’t respond when I asked him if he was ok. He was in shock. I followed him into the FBO and stood by in case he or the FBO needed anything. Passengers showed up and we got permission to use the taxiway for takeoff, but man; what a learning experience for me. So, there by the grace of God go I, and aren’t checklists great! I would rather be lucky than good. Vince Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
