Looking for a 50% partner on a great 201J based at KFWS (Spinks) / Fort Worth.

Red herring as it turns out. I checked with the mechanic when I went over to pick the plane up after some service. The prop hangs slightly when the engine is off, but is straight when running (and indeed it is...I checked). The engine mounts, type and design, are apparently the key here. Sorry I don't recall all of the technical details, which my mechanic happily lectured me on in some detail, but my takeaway was that our engine mounts are in good condition and correctly installed. The mechanic showed me some other aircraft, including his Cessna T-210, in the hangar with the same type of mounts and the same "drooping" of the prop. And he showed me one where the mounts were about to be replaced. Two different situations.

Ah, understand the comment on engine placement. I'll look into that and update my post when I have more info. 'er, no, the lab stays on the ground.

Thanks for the post. Hmmm...not sure about spinner to cowling alignment. It looks right in real life. Still, will take another look...
