  1. I was literally just searching for information on this when I found this post. Hopefully TALCO will get them back on track. I have been considering adding the inflatable seal to my rear door to match the front on my Seneca. I love the one on the front...no idea why last owner didn't just do both! EDIT: I received a response from TALCO within 10 minutes of emailing them. They are hoping to have product by February 2020 and are working through the process of having the STCs transferred over at the moment.
  2. Just checking to see whether or not this sold... Looking to buy one if not too far from the Chattanooga area.
  3. Looking to purchase one if it isn't too far from central Tennessee. Can fly to neighboring states. Anyone got anything?
  4. If anyone in Florida is trying to escape Irma with their aircraft, but don't know where to go, the Winchester Municipal Airport (BGF) in Winchester, TN can accept 9 to 10 light singles or twins. Storage hangar space will be made available free of charge on a first come, first served basis. Plenty of ramp space is available for free as well. The Franklin County Airport (UOS) has limited space available as well. Please just get out!
  5. For sale is gently used, good working Garmin Aera 795 with carrying case, bare wire cradle mount, remote antenna, aircraft power cable (and cradle), home power/charging dock, and micro USB extender cable. Screen is in excellent condition, as are the tactile buttons. Databases last updated in Spring 2016.Would like to get $1100 + shippingWill probably be putting on eBay before too long. This unit was only used for a couple months in the AirGizmos dock in my plane. Only reason for sale is replaced with a 796.
  6. Looking to buy a good, used 796 if anyone has one for sale (with XM antenna). Currently they are going for between $1200 and $1400 right now on eBay, so that range is what I'd be looking for.
  7. If you have the above listed parts, drop me a PM. Looking to acquire each one of these as a stopgap measure until we go in for avionics upgrade.
  8. Looking for a used 52D67 (5000E-9) autopilot attitude indicator. Not looking for just a core, rather, hoping to find something removed in working order.
  9. At least on my Lance, Piper assigned part numbers for the bearings used for the flap, rudder, and stabilator control surfaces. With this part number, I can cross reference a part from most aircraft part suppliers. Just curious that Mooney didn't do it this way. Either way, I'll follow up on MB65E's part suggestion and see what we can find out. Thanks again!
  10. Even on my Lance there are part numbers for the bearings. Are you saying that Mooney does not do this?
  11. Awesome, thank you! I will let them know. We did legitimately look, but just couldn't figure it out. I told the shop that they really need to get on all these different forums to assist them for things like this!
  12. Asking for a shop on the field: Does anyone have a part number or what size the bearings are for the elevator(s) on a 1964 M20E? Looked in the parts manual, but cannot seem to find a parts number for this. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  13. We have this in Tennessee. I thought I had done my due diligence when buying my first aircraft. Only after did someone mention this to me...so I paid it...late, but I paid it. Thankfully I was able to find someone reasonable to deal with at the Department of Revenue here. When I bought my second aircraft, I factored the Use Tax into my financing...made it SO much easier! At least this is something I only have to pay once and not every year like in some other states. I don't mind so much this time around since we plan on staying put for awhile and keeping the aircraft long term.
