  1. This C Model is SOLD ! Hated to see it go after 30 years - went to a worthy new operator - hopefully will continue to provide time machine duties for years to come.
  2. bluehighwayflyer is correct. The '65 Paint was Red/White per the 1965 Mooney Factory Log Book Entry. I can't find exact date in the logs of the "new paint", but it was before '93 when I became one of the co-owners. The paint/exterior/cosmetics/glass is a 3 or 4 however, hangared since '93 and like the Advertisement says, "It'll get you there".
  3. I may be interested. Shipping from Germany would not be a show stopper.
  4. I do still need one, but IA is wanting some documentation so - I'm not sure how to proceed.
  5. You'd be welcome to come look and lets have a discussion. I've had access to the ramp before, on the private side but it's been a few years. Id have no issue getting access again or, my hangar at 1N1 is likely much less $ or, 0E0 has potential spots a well. Larry
  6. Running into problems finding this Adaptor. It's for a 262 ModWorks conversion 231-262. The adaptor is leaking and needs to be replaced or overhauled. No good source yet that has a reasonable price. Elecro-Mech INC. EM8014-1.
  7. 1965 Mooney M20C Ad 11-5-2022.pdf 1965 Mooney M20-C, N5533Q s/n 2955, TTAF 6212, Engine 1690 SMOH, Prop 1690 TSN, 10/1/22 Annual. All cylinders ≥ mid 70’s. Fine Wire Plugs, Garmin GTN650 Nav/Com 1, GTX327/GDL-88 UAT ADS-B In/Out, FS210, Garmin G5 AI, King HSI, King KX155 Nav/Com 2 with Glideslope and DVOR, KN64 DME (Nav 1&2), EI MVP-50 engine analyzer (11+ primary instruments), one SureFly eMag, one Slick (<135 hrs. both). Manual Johnson Bar gear, Manual/Hydraulic flaps, PC & Brittain 1-axis AP and more! Dated paint but she’ll get you there @ 141 kt on 10 gph going GPS direct. Useful load 981 lbs, 669 lbs with full (52 gal) fuel. 30+ STCs, email / call for more info. Partners bought 2 other Mooneys, we don’t need 3 sadly $74k Larry@LarryShapnek.com 505-366-4586 Sandia Park, New Mexico
  8. I believe I'll need a pre-purchase in the Tulsa, OK area / KRVS. Looking for a shop or individual with Mooney K model experience. I'd pitch-in with panels, cleaning, etc., if possible. Larry Shapnek, Albuquerque NM area.
  9. Hank, Are thoise the States you have landed in ? I only have two more to go myself ! One I'll have to rent a plane when I go there.
  10. So true Mlm20c. It takes an AMU for each knott faster that you want to go, takes another AMU to shed each lb.
  11. Erik, Do you have W&B data for your Rocket that you would share? Maybe I can spot an error in my engineering. Larry
  12. All, the front seat weights are just samples. Two (x 195 lb) in front would be a more normal crew. Then I'd like to take some fuel along just 'cause. The envelope is defined from the 252 limits plus the Rocket limits (on top). I'm looking (hoping) for errors in my sample calculator. The first line is actual empty AC data from a Rocket. Sample Rocket WB Calculator (4-24-21).xlsx
  13. Looking at a Rocket and making up a sample W&B calculator. I'd heard about the forward CG, but my first looks and calculations show a nearly impossible loading situation. Anyone have a good sample loading worksheet that I can use to see if my "engineering" is wrong? Or where is my error(s) on this calculator (attached), or is the path "just fly it"?
