  2. Midlifeflier - exactly! I think of drawing a line FROM the direction (NW, in this case), then figure out the details of the fix. Fix, navaid, and turn direction are all independent of that. A - timing is still the standard, but many of us default to requesting distance if not specified. Much easier to hold that way... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-T337A using Tapatalk
