  1. I have no way to measure it, as I sold the airplane.
  2. Sorry for the delay. Over the top, and it is the Ram mount, yoke mount from Sportys, with the Ram Ipad 2 mini holder.
  3. Is the GTN 650 still available? Thanks,

    Dave

  4. Please email me at 10snut@gmail.com, or check your messages. Thanks, Dave
  5. I have a pretty much like new Bogart tow bar for Mooney. Used a few times before buying a powered tow bar. This is very well made and breaks down easily, for storage: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/pages/ap/jet/bogibars2.php They are $139 new, plus shipping. I would like $100, free shipping anywhere in Cont. USA
  6. I will give you a call today, thanks. Dave
  7. I have a 28V Robotow for sale. It is for Mooneys, and comes with battery, charger, and Mooney adapter. Bought one year ago, new. Has had very little use and is in excellent condition. Local pickup price is $900. Shipping is possible and would be extra. Price new is $1420. Thanks much. Location: Elmira, NY 14905, Airport KELM
  8. If you have the IPad mini Retina display, make sure you get the Ram Mount specific to the Retina Mini.
  9. For what it's worth, I think Mooney went to square back windows in 65. ( from teardrop ). In 66 I think they made the center pedestal continue up to the instrument panel, hiding the connecting rods for the flaps.
  10. I have 27 gallon O&N bladders. Total fuel capacity 54 gal. Useful load dropped 30lbs. Having had previous airplanes with both bladders and wet wing tanks, I will take the bladders every time.

  12. Here is a pic of my 65 M20E checklist. Sorry I coouldn't get it any clearer.
  13. The trick is to buy it right. There are numerous items that can really add up in expense. Pre-buys are a must, but you need someone that knows something about Mooneys. I bought my 65 M20E a few weeks ago, the year before the owner spent 52K on maintainence and upgrades. New prop 9K, bladders 10K, Stec 60 14K, Garmin 430 Wass 10K, etc. The big ticket items are things like leaky fuel tanks, corrosion, landing gear maintainence, prop AD, paint & interior, avionics upgrades, engine overhauls. Better to have all or at least some of that done by the previous owner, much cheaper then doing it yourself. This is my 6th airplane in the past 17 years, once you get used to having all that freedom & fun, it's hard to go back.
  14. http://mooneyspace.com/gallery/image/35773-mooney-m20e-n5538q/ Hi to all. Great site BTW. I am the owner of a 1965 M20E. I stopped flying over 10 years ago, 3,700 hrs. CFII, had other interests. I got the " bug " a couple of months ago, and decided to get back in the air. I owned an M20F and sold it to buy an Aztec, really missed the Mooney. I took delivery two weeks ago on The M20E, and am enjoying getting current again. Great, great airplane, with great avionics, which BTW, have come a long way, since my days. Good to see such a great bunch of enthusiasts.
  15. I recently purchased a 1965 M20E for 47K. 3450TT, 1450SMOH, 450 STOP. 2002 paint & interior. Garmin 430W, Stec 60-2 AP, 2013 Bladders, new Top Prop, new style landing gear. I believe the Mooney evaluator had it at 51K. During my search ( 2 months ), I couldn't find much for less then 40K, either high time, decent avionics, or low time with old avionics and leaky tanks.
  16. From the album: Mooney M20E N5538Q

Color is actually an off white. Hangar lights add a yellow tint.

  18. 50K Hull, 1 million, $750/year thru AOPA. 3500 hours, 125 in type. Dave
