  1. oh, and I'll call lasar looking for the kit you reference. 940065-605 for a safe flight switch.
  2. weird, you must have a different switch based on that honeywell microswitch and your write up ours don't go together the same way. Here's mine taken apart. Compared to the switch you used, I don't see a way to mount it in the metal housing that rivets to the face plate and the back of mine is solid, no room for those terminals or a way to attach the switch arm. I'm guessing somewhere along the way mooney changed what they used? No clue but the more I dig, the more confused I get.
  3. well, IDK how they did it. Here's the cessna switch they used and here's the switch taken apart. The terminals and all are pretty different.
  4. Mmmmm cafe du Monde. I could smash 6 right now I bet.
  5. good news then. Thanks! (planning to have it overhauled or replaced at annual)
  6. I couldn't actually SEE the numbers until I looked at the pic, and all I can make out is omond 6d and I THINK 1270C. Maybe more to do with the motor than the pump. the pump portion has a T on a W in a circle I'm betting someone that has seen these a couple times can tell me easily, it looks like we're just ahead of the bulletin to replace the duke's pumps with weldens, so I'm GUESSING we have one of those?
  7. I don't have the part in hand yet, at the dentist. I'll get a plan of attack when I get to the mechanics shop and pick it up. I'm excited I have a better prospect than buying a used one of questionable useful life though. The part number of that switch is more valuable than you know. It's nowhere around the forum.
  8. Ohhhh! Got a lead in my wtb thread on a microswitch so things are looking up!
  9. At this point I have nothing to lose so I'll grind the rivets A guy in another thread says it's a special switch but I'll try your lead, thanks
  10. Hrm, I'll see if I can get into it
  11. The box is riveted shut. You can't just swap the microswitch
  12. No such luck finding one that cheap, there's a couple around but look rough and want 400 bucks, and not knowing the seller who knows what you get. That might be what I have to do though, if cleaning doesn't work that's my fastest and cheapest option.
  13. Dude they're $1800 new and $1200 to have safe flight overhaul the existing.
  14. Here's what safe flight wants for overhaul Good Morning, Per your request, I have enclosed the following price information C-46001 – Lift Detector Inspection/Bench Test $ 274.00 Overhaul (without Dual Certification FAA/EASA) $1,198.00 Overhaul (with Dual Certification FAA/EASA) $1,248.00 Repair/Overhaul cost includes cost of Inspection/Bench Test.
  15. No dice I need part C-46001 – Lift Detector
  16. Somehow never heard about it when I was at und. Too bad, looks fun.
  17. Our Aspen have individual Aspen toggle switches above each screen, cheapo 5 dollar style.
  18. boy, not a lot of emergency options there.
  19. Not certain we need it yet, but in case we do does anyone have a working stall switch they'd part with? We have a k but I think they're all the same anyway. I see a couple on eBay but who knows what you get with that.
