  1. Mine is electric too. Are they overhauling both or one? I read it was $4k in another post here. I think $2k is very fair for two units.
  2. Did it go up again? Last I heard was $2K per side.
  3. As Aerodon stated, the switch is the breaker. see attachment.
  4. Does it freely move after you push it in? If yes, it may be internal to the clutch. If no, I would look at the rest of the assembly.
  5. If you turn the power off and they retract fully, then it could also be the down micro-switch adjustment which can be done from the top (100 series).
  6. I saw a picture of a simple design on Controller (see pic). Does anyone have a set or knows where to buy it from? Driver
  7. How high is the RPM at touch down? Are you already at Idle? At higher RPMs, gyroscopic forces may cause this.
  8. That's a nice arrangement. I also like the 930 on the left side too if it is not very painful $$$.
  9. Thanks for all the info KSMooniac, Aerodon, and ArtVandelay. I have the old fashion panel on the left side with a storm scope. The JPI 700 and Tachometer on the right side could easily be replaced with the JPI 930 with minimum hassle. My old Moritz gauges have held up so far, but I am not sure how much more life is left in them. I think JPI 930 on the right side is probably my best option. Art: Your panel looks great. I am saving my money, but I am sure it was not cheap
  10. I have a JPI 700 on the copilot side. Can I install a 900 or 930 on the left side of copilot panel and use it as primary? Has anyone done this with no issues in ease of using it?
  11. Thanks SkyLand. This was great. By the way, you should change your name to SkyLandSea
  12. I will be there flying from Palo Alto and will not need refueling if I fly LOP
  13. Nicely done captain and thanks for sharing the experience.
  14. I completely agree. The cabin light switch is poorly designed and could easily be turned on by bumping into it. I lost a battery (1) before I made it a part of my final check before locking the door.
  15. I got tired of having to worry about charging my Stratus2, so I bought a Sentry mini and plugged into the aux power. I keep the Stratus in the plane as a backup but have not used it in the past year.
  16. My mechanic used the wiring diagram in the manual, and it is working fine. My sender was functional.

  19. Don Maxwell advises against running the tank dry. He stated that a marginal "O"ring in the fuel selector will allow air to leak into the line and disrupt the fuel flow from the tank with fuel. A couple of gallons in the tank will prevent the leak. Did anyone experience this? Does running the low boost pump solve this potential issue?
