  1. https://www.gardneraircraft.com/planeviewspec.php?id=749 Looks nice to me. This is priced to sell. As opposed to, “yes honey, I listed the airplane for sale.“ Sometimes, owners want to quickly unload what they have and not try to get the last dollar.
  2. I bought a Teslong from Amazon about a year ago. It has a very long probe so it can be used for more than just cylinders. The screen is bright and clear. I would buy it again.
  3. The registration number listed is not for a Mooney. It goes without saying, don't take anything you are told by the non-pilot seller or whoever worked on it at face value. If you're game for an adventure keep us posted.
  4. Aeroled Polaris is a less expensive alternative to Chroma nav lights. Installed about 200 hours ago and leave them on continuously. No problems.
  5. I'm having a hard time understanding what you are saying here. If you are involved in litigation it's not good to air it out in a public forum, or anywhere else for that matter.
  6. Parts: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/categories/aircraft_parts/ap/menus/ep/carburetors_00marvelsch_parts.html And more parts: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/eppages/consolidatedparts2.php
  7. Maybe something worth looking into with a willing A&P:
  8. Under Part 91, legally there’s no such thing as “due for an overhaul.” Unless your prop’s condition is poor, consider getting a reseal. You’ll save a lot money and avoid the possibility of the blade being shaved down unnecessarily.
  9. I would buy a working mx170c and call it good. I have looked at getting a newer navcom2 to replace my KX155, and there's little added benefit to spending the extra money.

  11. When was your starter last replaced or overhauled? Not an expert, but that’s what I would look at next.
  12. It might be for your fuel pressure gauge. I’m not a mechanic, however. That’s a pretty crusty looking carburetor. Here’s a picture of one in this thread.
