They are not going in the baggage door. However, they will fit through the front door and, with a seat removed, slide into the baggage compartment.

A 700C wheel won't go through the Mooney baggage hatch. Our Co-Motion tandem's frame (in 3 S&S coupled sections) will fit in via the hatch.

The entire tandem and wheels will fit into the baggage area of the "C" model, if parts are in wheel bags and fabric sacks.

You don't need the aluminum cases if you handle your own baggage!

In August we put the tandem together on the ramp at KHLN and rode it off to the hotel. Later we came back in the shuttle and got our luggage.

I am impressed.

As I said before - I recommend you just put the bike pieces in one or two or three BBQ covers you get at for $20 somewhere and wrap them up tight with a zip cord. It is much faster and lighter and easier to handle than those big cases. And everything greasy stays clean inside the bbq covers.

cool..we use a couple of dahon mu 20 in folding bikes..both fit side by side in the extended long body baggage area and only weigh about 20 lbs ea.The dahons use very high quality frame and shifter parts by avid and very quick to assemble.
