Yes, this is a working GNS 480 / CNX 80 with Tray and harness.

The tray antennas are terminated with RG400 and connectors, along with power, ground, and indicator / CDI connectors for a GI 106/ MD200-306, or Collins 351a. Can require for others. It is also ready to connect on your favorite Garmin / PS Engineering audio panel.

Have a second GNS 480 if interested.

Airplane Jacks

LED Replacement for Whelen Model #70303 Light

All,

Many of us having the below Whelen Model 70303 recognition lights installed on our airplanes have expressed interest in an LED replacement. To date, Whelen (nor any other vendor that I’m aware of) has been able to offer such a light. Although these forward-mounted wingtip lights are not part of an FAA-approved anti-collision system, they do serve a valuable purpose, and admit they look pretty cool too. The existing lights have a nasty habit of burning holes in the plexiglas covers; which, as we know, aren’t cheap to replace.

Raised a poll above to garner interest in an LED replacement. Whelen has developed an LED solution for just about every light on every Mooney except for the 70303. Based on this poll, hopefully we can take a number back to Whelen that they would consider viable to allow engineering to develop it, test it, and bring it to market.

I've got a good prop from my recent salvage J that I'm going to take to Yingling this week for inspection and reseal. My current plan is not to overhaul it, but if someone is in need of a prop very soon and would like it overhauled, please let me know and we can work out a deal! I know our Canadian owners must overhaul on calendar time and this might be a good option for one of them. Yingling is a factory service center for McCauley and MT, and in fact they overhauled my MT last summer with great results.

I'll also have the full spinner assembly available, and the prop buyer will get dibs on it before I list it separately.

This saved my bacon a couple times due to a sketchy gyro AI. I no longer need this. Includes what you see in the photos. Has the upgraded GPS antenna. I do not have the suction-mount as the Mooney-buyer refused to return it to me (along with my headset, etc. long story...) It does include the panel-hole mount though. There is a horizontal white line that is visible at near the top of the screen. That is the only discrepancy with this and that line does not affect the operation of this device. It is no longer under warranty. Photos were taken today (14-AUG-2023).
