  1. any other equipment installed or modified recently? Do you ever transmit on 121.5. How far is the gps ant from other ANT?
  2. 2800 first time and 800 or so to renew I think. That covers all makes and models of mooneys I believe. Unless you have the privilege of only working on mooneys your going to be buying more then just one manufacturer.
  3. When mechanics have to spend 10k to 20k a year on ATP maintenance manual subscription service you will see why there cost are so high. It cost 5k just for the Cessna 100 series of manuals. Let's not even get into how much liability insurance cost. Lots of money may change hands but very little ends up as profit for the mechanic. Anyone doing a annual for 1200 is skipping stuff or donating there time for free. I do know of a few older mechanics that do the annuals that cheap but they do everything in accordance with there years of experience and not the maintenance manual. Lots of holes in safety when torque settings are set by "good enough" instead of by the book
  4. Engine hoist only cost a couple hundred, seems like cheap insurance to me
  5. Congrats on finding the gremlin. Those kinds of issues can be the worst.
  6. Aircraft is still for sale...throwing in a free fresh annual with purchase.
  7. As someone who used to live in Clovis,NM let me start by saying I am a Sorry. I currently live in Amarillo and the weather for the entire area is nasty low level clouds with a random thunderhead coming through every now and then. On the flip side the Clovis airport is well taken care of and and good lighting. The FBO building is not that great, but then again neither is the area. Good luck on the trip.
  8. If it is making good power I would say let it go. The scratches and corrosion by it self won't prevent it from making tbo. But at 32 years old I would overhaul at tbo since there is moe then likely corrosion on the crankshaft.
  9. I go I got a job working on border patrol aircraft at goodfellow afb.
  10. I plan on moving to San Angelo,tx shortly. I would be hot to cut you a deal on doing owner assisted annuals every year, if that's helps temp you more.
  11. I would be interested in the truck, but I would need some cash to make up the difference.
  12. . Did you get my message? I can do 43 are you still interested
  13. My mooney is still for sale, feel free to ask me any questions. You can also see my airplane on trade a plane.
  14. No, just a wing leveler. But very stable it can be flown with just finger tips.
