M20J speed settings

So i got a couple of hours a few weeks ago with instructor, then the two week chest cold came and then the weather sucked. It cleared up today and i went up by myself for some familiarization. i wanted to figure out the auto pilot and find some power settings for normal operation. i did a lot of experimenting and took some notes.

does anyone have a cheat sheet made up or can give me some settings to try instead of this trial and error method?

a few settings that I'm looking for:

maneuvering speed for steep turns and such.

cruise climb

cruise descent

also settings and setup for approach and departure stalls. altitude lost for full stall recovery power on and off.

basic transition stuff. i have a copy of the mapa manual, but from years of instructing I've always found there are a lot of pilots with excellent methods they have learned from experience.

btw 1998 allegro

thanks

mike

thanks for the replies...i have the manual, i guess what I'm looking for is more syllabus type materials.

today while doing some steep turns i experimented with the power settings to get me below maneuvering speed and maintain altitude during a 60 degree banked turn. after a few tries i settled on 16 inches and 23 for entry and increase mp to 17 after the turn is established. I'm not sure this is where i want to be because my turns aren't that smooth yet. someone that can nail a steep turn knows the two power settings i need...

same thing for mca and stall entries. vspeeds are all in the maps manual but the settings aren't.

typical info I'm looking for (because I'm lazy and its expensive to figure out) would look like below:

steep turns:

set power to xx and xxxx

airspeed at entry xxx

establish turn increase power to xx
