KSMooniac
Does anyone else use this feature to quickly scan all topics? My "new content" has been shrinking the last couple of days, and today there was none! I know that isn't the case. Anyone else have similar behavior? Cruiser
I use it all the time. I am answering this thread because of it. Seems fine. 17 new messages since this morning/
carusoam
Yes, Check the options on the left column... A change may have occurred yesterday. There are some choices that may need to be unchecked... The choices also may be related to the version of IOS or other OS you may have. Best regards, -a-
KSMooniac
Nothing has changed on my end that I can tell... still checked "content I have not read", yet it seems that the forum is marking everything read in terms of delivering new content, even though the topics are still bolded indicating un-read. PTK
The bug I run into often with "view new content" is it returns "sorry no new content found" the first time I click it. The second time it returns normal.
Marauder
Are you using the website or an app like Tapatalk. I am seeing 12 unread at the moment.
KSMooniac
It's happening thru a web browser (Chrome) and Tapatalk. It's like there is something changing all of my content to "read" every 30 or 60 minutes.
mooniac15u
It's like there is something changing all of my content to "read" every 30 or 60 minutes. Probably the NSA.
KSMooniac
Could be! Now my new content window is down to 14 minutes with this latest check. Everything older than that is not showing up.
MB65E
If your not logged in sometimes on the iOS devices, several functions don't work. New content is one of them. -Matt
KSMooniac
I haven't been using any iOS device to read the forum this week at all, although I'm probably still logged in on my iPad. Do you think that would make a difference? Phone is Android and was working fine until yesterday. Ditto for Chrome on the PC.
Cruiser
make sure you have the Forums tab selected at the top. If you have one of the other tabs open and click on view new content you will get that "sorry no new content found" unless you switch to the Forums tab. KSMooniac
I think I've got it OK now... I selected "past week" instead of "unread" stuff and it seems to work OK now. Not sure why it suddenly changed behavior for me. Forums tab was selected the entire time.
