  • 2 weeks later...

So, 350 people have looked at this and no one has a comment...should that worry me?

Nope.  Lots of people like me that already own a plane and are just curious to see what others look like and what the asking price is.

Evaluate your needs, see how the plane fits those needs, look at past history, then see how the price looks to you.

Good luck,

Bob

Great plane....I am about 3 months from pulling the trigger on my next one...hope to see one like this then...

This plane has been on the market since at least early last fall. It may still be available in 3 months.  Such is the market these days, I suppose.

The advantage of MooneySpace is it is a community.

A single post that offers a plane for sale does not neccesarily make you a member of the community.

It helps to be a known entity...

Fortunately, everyone is welcome.

So, there is no need to be worried about a plane advertised for sale on it's first post.

But, there is less comfort when buying an expensive object from an unknown seller.

Things to be concerned about...

The economy has been coming out of the doldrums for five years and planes are just now starting to sell.

Things to be excited about...

Price of fuel is going down and the future looks good with the increase in horizontal drilling...

Unemployment is also trending lower. Another sign of improving comfort levels...

Don't rush out to buy a plane. Use your head. Protect your finances with a PPI...etc...

Best regards,

-a-

I emailed w/ the OP about the plane. He is a broker for the plane. Apparently, it is owned by two or three guys. He said they have a firm offer on the table of low 80s, but were holding out for more $. This has been a few weeks ago..not sure where it stands right now. I see he has not made any updates on status.
