  1. Complete with everything plus new Li ion battery. $800 PM if interested. Thanks, Ryan
  2. Actually my experiences with Joey have been very positive, and the opposite of what you posted. It was Emerald Coast down at DTS that wasn't good.
  3. We're having our 3rd child next month and need to sell the Mooney for more room. Had the airplane advertised for awhile, but seems I may have been asking too much. Had the airplane annualed by Joey Cole at Cole Aviation last month. Take a look at the spec sheet, check out the photos on my profile (flashf16), and feel free to PM me, email or call with questions. I'm willing to deal and would also be interested in possibly trading for a six seater if there's someone out there looking to get into a long range, turbo-charged Mooney. 4. Does anyone have personal experience with either Cole Aviation in Rome, GA or Emerald Coast in CEW/DTS? Would like to get your input on positives and/or negatives. If you'd rather not post negative comments, please feel free to PM me or email me at flashf16@earthlink.net Thanks, Ryan
  5. Dale, noticed you said the airplane you're looking at has 1500 hrs SMOH and in another post, 'about 500 hrs left to TBO'. Just wanted to make sure you're aware that it's an 1800 hr TBO for that engine. Also, I took my 262 up to FL 250 2 days ago and saw 195kts true...272kts ground (eastbound...), and 303kts for a little bit in the descent. Hope that gives you some more to chew on. Ryan
  6. Basically a FWF conversion to a 252. Replaces the 231 engine with a 252 engine (TSIO-360MB)--tuned induction, automatic wastegate, intercooler, infinitely adjustable cowl flaps, and dual alternators. You can maintain full power to 24K, and have a ceiling of 28K.
  7. My experience has been too many obnoxious remarks from people that don't know what they're talking about--much better to receive intelligent questions/comments here. It's a 1980 K model with the 262 mod, aux tanks, speed brakes, etc.
  8. We took a trip out west last month to Albuquerque, Pagosa Springs, and Colorado Springs. This video is of our flight from PSO to COS direct at 17,500. The munchkins did great with their oxygen masks, and we saw 205 kts ground for a couple of minutes. It was a great vacation in the Mooney.
  9. Alan, at 100 ROP and 25 to 50 LOP I'm consistently between 350 and 380 on all cylinders (1980 M20K 262 with the MB3 engine)--typically running 65-75% power. Ryan

  11. Incidentally, there are a few videos of the airplane on youtube. Go to You can click on 'More Videos from: Clrann78' to see the others. Ryan
  12. Asking 155 or best offer. Thanks, Ryan
  13. Hello all. Putting our 1980 231/262 up for sale. Pictures are available under my profile (Flashf16), and I can be contacted at flashf16@earthlink.net or 334-202-3782 with any questions. It's easier to say what it doens't have, than what it does. Loaded with mods, new paint and fresh out of annual. 601 SMOH on the -MB engine. It'll also be on Trade-a-Plane, Barnstormers, etc. in the next few days. Thanks, Ryan Barker
