  1. The plane went through prebuy a couple weeks ago and closed last Friday. Thanks for all the interest!
  2. The link to the pics isn't working anymore. I would love to see a pic of how people are mounting portable oxygen tanks and running the lines.
  3. SOLD I have listed my plane for sale on controller. Here is the link: http://www.controller.com/listingsdetail/aircraft-for-sale/MOONEY-M20G-STATESMAN/1968-MOONEY-M20G-STATESMAN/1371889.htm Love the plane, but family has outgrown it. Asking $54,000 which is negotiable especially once I identify & secure my next plane. Thanks for looking. Solid IFR X-country machine. Garmin 530W wtih GDL69 weather coupled to autopilot. $27k+ spent on avionics. NDH, complete log books & flown regularly. Great plane to build IFR time while burning 9gph. Long body provides plenty of legroom. Plane has been in our family since 1973 & treated with TLC. All log books availabe upon request. 4. I bought an ipad2 used on ebay for $200 & was able to continue using my bad eslf gps. Not a great long term fix, but cheap to buy you a few years.
  5. Does it take much to get a plane registered in Canada back to US registration?
  6. I just read this post in its entirety. Parting it out made no sense from the beginning. Something smelled. It did however create a lot of buzz around a plane for sale.
  7. The guides that allow you to move the front seats back & forth appear to be worn out and therefore only have 2 positions that lock. My mechanic told me there really is no fix for this other than maybe finding some other used ones to replace them. Anyone else had this problem or aware of a fix? thanks.
  8. I took an old kneeboard and put velcro on the top of the kneedboard and back of my ipad. I then simply velcro it to my kneedboard. I had seen a few other ipad kneeboards and was really unimpressed so I made my own cost effective one.
  9. -1...and +1. I currently fly a 68 G model that has been in my family since 1973. It is the plane I grew up with and feel very blessed to own it and have the ability to fly my own plane. Having said that when I get a chance to ride in my father's '05 Ovation 2 it is hard to not get a little jealous.
  10. Looking for a potential 1/2 ownership partner on a Mooney 252, rocket, bravo, or A36 Bonanza. I have not identified a plane yet.
